Why Tambuwal shunned PDP NEC meeting —Investigation

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, shunned last Thursday’s National Executive Committee meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party to evade the decision of the party to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan as its sole 2015 presidential candidate, The OLOKUNBOLA has learnt.
Findings showed that Tambuwal was in Abuja throughout Thursday and was even meeting with the national leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association at the National Assembly while the NEC meeting was going on in the city.
In the past, whenever he avoided major PDP meetings, excuses such as being out of the country or attending an important event elsewhere were givený by his office to explain his absence.
However, The Olokunbola gathered that this time round, Tambuwal was not only duly informed of the meeting but he was also very much in Abuja.

Jonathan to determine Sambo’s fate —PDP

President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice-President Namadi Sambo.
President Goodluck Jonathan is to determine if he will be running with his deputy, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, during the 2015 presidential election or not, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party has said.
But the party however added that since both men had been working together harmoniously since they assumed office more than three years ago, the President might not drop him.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh, who stated this while answering questions at a press briefing in Abuja, also said that the President had yet to accept the offer given to him by the party.
Metuh addressed the journalists on the planned nationwide tour to be embarked upon by the party’s national leadership where he said achievements of the party would be showcased.
It will be recalled that the National Executive Committee of the party at its 66th meeting in Abuja on Thursday, adopted the President as its sole presidential candidate for the 2015 election.
The President, while responding to the adoption, which was endorsed by all the organs of the party including the party national caucus, Board of Trustees, and the PDP Governors Forum, said he was humbled by the decision.

Pres. Jonathan lacks the experience to lead Nigeria- Atiku Abubakar says

Former Vice President and APC presidential aspirant Atiku Abubakar said in an interview with AFP today that President Jonathan lacks the experience to lead Nigeria, saying it's the reason Boko Haram activities has been on the increase.
"This insurgency shouldn’t have lasted even six months. Within weeks, we (Obasanjo and I) crushed it because we did not neglect military training and, of course, we did not lack the leadership and the capacity to take decisions. I told Nigerians that he [Jonathan] did not have the capacity; he didn’t have the experience. He didn’t have anything and yet they gave him the chance, the opportunity. And they can now see the chance and the opportunity they gave him. Of course, I’m more experienced than he is. I believe my capacity cannot be compared with his, in all respect.” he said

Why Must Presidency use Oritsejafor's Private Jet to Buy Arms?

This is the question being asked by Dino Melaye and other well-meaning Nigerians. The Presidential fleet under the control of President Goodluck Jonathan alone has over 10 aircraft. The Nigerian military has many jets. So, how come Nigerian civilians, with the aide of an Israeli, are used to purchase arms in a very suspicious deal? How long have these arms deals been going on? How is Boko Haram getting arms?

There is something Olokunbolablessing.Com will also like to know:
How come it was a Private Jet that church members bought for EVANGELISM that is now being used in the smuggling of Billions of Naira and buying of Arms? Nigerians deserve the truth. We are not fools!

Kalu expresses regret for helping Orji become governor

Dr. Orji Kalu
A former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed regret over the role he played in the emergence of his former chief of staff, Theodore Orji, as his successor
During an interview with Channels Television, Kalu, said he fell out with Orji, who is the current governor of Abia, because he cautioned him (Orji) privately about excesses of his government barely 18 months into his first term.
Kalu said infrastructural developments in the state were grounded in spite of the fact the governor was running the state with multiple loans from banks.
He said, “The time I made that decision (to make Orji governor) it was a right decision. Eighteen months after he became governor, I called him privately and told him ‘look, you can no longer do this job.’ If the governor is an honest, man he will tell you this is true.
