A 20-year-old Japanese woman
will not live to know how she was betrayed by her 41-year-old lover
identified as Akinori Yoneda, who backed out of their planned joint suicide pact after she killed herself, the police in that country say.
According to the report which adds that Yoneda has been arrested on a charge of 'assisted suicide',
the suspect met the woman on a website geared for people who are
contemplating suicide and the two struck a relationship with the aim of
committing joint suicide.
