Man, 35, To Serve 14 Years In Jail For Raping Minor

A 35-year-old man, Olowo Ismaila, has been sentenced to 14 years imprisonment by an Ado Ekiti High Court for raping a minor.

In his judgment, the presiding judge, Dele Omotoso, said the prosecution proved its case against him beyond reasonable doubt.

Mr. Omotoso held that the evidence before the court, including the medical report, proved that Mr. Ismaila committed the crime.


He said the sentence would start counting from April 14, 2016 when he was first remanded in prison custody for the offence.

Man, transgender wife sue Amazon for workplace bias

 A Kentucky man and his transgender wife sued Amazon on Wednesday, alleging that they endured sustained discrimination and harassment during a year as co-workers at the online retailer’s warehouse in northern Kentucky.


A lawyer working with the couple said the case is notable in part because Amazon, one of the nation’s largest corporations, has a record of strongly supporting gay and transgender rights.

Man, 75, seeks divorce over starvation of sex

 A 75-year-old man, Mr Kayode Oguntuase, on Monday approached an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court to dissolve his 26-year-old marriage on allegation of being starved of sex.

Oguntuase told the court that his 53-year-old wife, Felicia, was also sleeping with other men. He also accused the wife of stubbornness, theft, threats to his life and lack of care for him, adding that she was also adamant to corrections.

No one is busy 24/7. Most people have a day off now and then or weekends. Consider all of the free time he spends chatting to you or talking on the phone. He’s not too busy during those times.

3. He sounds too good to be true

If you look at all of the people who go public with being scammed by someone online, you’ll find the majority of them were talking to someone who sounded too good to be true. The chances of you meeting someone who is a model, actor, or wealthy businessman are slim to none. If you meet someone who says he is any of those things, do your research. You want to believe someone wouldn’t lie like that, but as you’ve probably seen it does happen a lot. Don’t simply assume that you won’t be a target.
Online dating requires patience and a lot of common sense. When things don’t add up don’t be afraid to ask questions. Don’t feel guilty about doing research on the person you’re talking to. It’s up to you to protect yourself as best you can.

Man, 24, grabbed by a huge crocodile and killed while swimming in infested waters in Australia

A 24-year-old man who ignored warnings to stay out of a river in northern Australia is feared to have been killed by a huge crocodile.
A shocked friend told staff at a caravan and camping park east of Darwin that the man and a friend jumped into the crocodile-infested Mary River for a swim on Saturday (local time), ignoring all warnings.
The friend then watched helplessly as a huge crocodile grabbed hold of the man and pulled him under.

The victim has not been seen since.
Northern Watch Commander Peter Lindfield said water police were on the scene searching for the missing man with the help of Parks and Wildlife rangers in the hope that he might have been able to break free from the crocodile's jaws and swim to the river bank.
