According to Saudi newspaper report, Sakina Ali Al Muhanna died on
Sunday, August 9, after doctors amputated part of her hand which
suffered from a clot due to needle mishandling by a medical team
treating her in Saudi Arabia. She was admitted to hospital in the
eastern province of Qateef with lung illness and doctors tried to give
her an intravenous injection.
“After several abortive attempts to fix the needle, the child suffered from a clot in her hand,” Sabq Daily said.
