Two Islamic tutors, Kamaledeen Alade and Hammed Adebayo, who allegedly
gang-raped 14-year-old and 16-year-old girls, were on Wednesday
arraigned in Lagos.
Alade, 32, and Adebayo 27, whose addresses were not provided, pleaded not guilty to four counts of conspiracy, rape, sexual penetration and application of charm at a Surulere Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Anthonia Osayande, told the court that Alade was the founder of an Islamic school, where youths learnt the Quran.
