The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the suspension of former Senator, Barnabas Gemade, by the Benue chapter of the party.
Recall that Gemade, Terhemba Shija who is a former house of representatives member, and five others were suspended over alleged anti-party activities. They were accused of working for the opposition during the election.However, Gemade's suspension has been dismissed by APC's national leadership. Felix Morka, APC’s spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday, May 11, that the national working committee (NWC) of the party has ordered that the suspension be set aside.
