Court Orders Former Jigawa Governor To Be Remanded In Jail

A Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, has ordered the remand of ex-Jigawa state governor, Saminu Turaki, in Kuje Prison, Abuja, barely five days after a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, Abuja, granted him bail.
Justice Dimgba, ordered his remand after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission re-arraigned Turaki and three companies on 32 counts of money laundering offences involving about N37bn.
