A C & S prophetess, 41-year-old Sola
Ajayi, who allegedly stole a Canadian-breed life turkey valued at N30,
000, is to remain behind bars, an Ile Ife Magistrates’ Court in Osun
ruled on Monday.
Ajayi was ordered to be kept in prison custody over his inability to perfect her bail.
Chief Magistrate Olalekan Ijiyode had granted her bail in the sum of N30, 000 with one surety in like sum.
Ijiyode added that the surety must be a civil servant and should also reside within the court’s jurisdiction.
No civil servant showed up to stand
surety for her and the magistrate remanded the prophetess in prison
custody until the bail condition was met.
