Ignore the rumours, the President-elect of Gambia, Adama Barrow is
alive. Contrary to rumours of his assassination that went round on
social media yesterday, multiple sources have confirmed that Mr Barrow
is alive and well and still very much in Gambia.
A source said, Mr. Barrow has remained in Gambia to ensure he is sworn in as president on January 19. He defeated outgoing leader, Yahya Jammeh, in the December 1 Presidential election, but Mr Jammeh has vowed not to step down.
