The
Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information and
Publicity, Mr. Segun Olulade, has faulted Chief Bode George’s attack on
members of the House.
George, a former national Vice-Chairman
of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West Zone, was said to have
described the Lagos State House of Assembly as a mere rubber stamp.
The PDP leader was reported to have said
that the state Assembly was answerable only to the National Leader of
the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu.
But Olulade said the comment credited to
George was a reflection of the PDP leader’s “die-hard habit of uttering
unguarded and un-statesman-like statements.”
