Boxer Amir Khan' s Estranged Wife Vows To Raise Unborn Child Alone

Amir Khan' s wife Faryal Makhdoom has reportedly vowed to bring up their unborn baby alone, following her split with the boxer.

Over the weekend, 26-year-old Faryal dropped the bombshell that she was expecting their second child.

The shock news came after the couple had a very public spat on Twitter after Amir, 30, dramatically announced their four year marriage was over.

Faryal is now reported to have told her friends she will raise their child by herself and 'doesn't need her estranged husband's help, according to The Sun.


An insider told the paper: "Faryal’s announcement came as a shock to everyone involved but she doesn’t want anything more from Amir now.

“They’re back on speaking terms, trying to keep everything ­civilised for the sake of their daughter and extended families, but the relationship is finished."

They added: “She has told him she will happily bring up their new child without his support, and the divorce is going ahead.

“She’s a strong woman — and the pregnancy isn’t going to change that," they told The Sun.
