3 year old ‘brutally raped and killed by stepdad because she would not stop crying’

A three-year-old girl ‘was brutally raped and beaten to death by her stepfather’ over reports she would not stop crying.

The murder took place in the city of Florencio Varela in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, following  an argument with the girl’s mother about the toddler’s tears.The young victim was identified as Silvina Nunez.

Police arrested Mauricio Canosa Fratti, 26, as well as Silvina’s 20-year-old mother Victoria Nunez, who reported the killing the following morning.



Authorities are said to believe Nunez must have gone along with the crime to some extent as she could not have been unaware of such a savage attack in their small farmhouse, The UK Sun reports.

Fratti is said to have raped the girl and beaten her all over her body, then once she was dead washed the naked corpse with a hose.

The savage crime has rocked the neighbourhood of La Tranquera.

Police in Florencio Varela searched the city for Canosa Fratti, finding him in the area of San Francisco Solano trying to ‘hide out’ in a relative’s home.

Authorities say they also arrested the mother because she waited until the next day to report the crime, hinting at a degree of complicity.

Police did not release a statement about what specific charges would be made.
