The 56 year old star, was exercising when he suffered "agonising pains in his chest", according to the Sun.Paramedics were called and Banderas was taken to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey on Thursday, it is claimed.
He confirmed to The Sun he had suffered an "episode" and thanked the medics who helped him.
The actor who moved to Britain in 2015 and lives in a £2.4million mansion in Cobham with partner Nicole Kimpel .
