Enyimba beat Wikki Tourists 2-1, in their rescheduled Match Day 31
fixture at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt on Wednesday.The current NPFL champions, went behind to a Godwin Obaje strike in the 3rd minute, but fought back with Nzube Anaezemba scoring a brace.
Enyimba have now enhanced their chances of qualifying for a continental competition next season, while denting Wikki’s title chances.
The People’s Elephant are now sixth with 49 points, while Wikki remain in third place with 51 points, three adrift of leaders, Enugu Rangers.
At the Umuahia Township Stadium, Abia Warriors and FC IfeanyiUbah battled to a 1-1 draw in their Match Day 34 fixture.
