Melania Trump is suing a British newspaper,Daily Mail and a US blogger for $150million over claims she was once a sex worker, the BBC reports.
The Daily Mail reported that a modelling agency that Melania Trump worked with in the 1990s also served as an escort service.
The piece, citing a magazine in Melania's native Slovenia, linked the would-be First Lady with the line of work and implied she had met her husband earlier than previously believed.

Blogger Webster Griffin Tarpley wrote that Mrs Trump feared her past becoming public.Melania warned the newspaper and other media organisations that she would take legal action on August 22.

Trump's lawyer Charles Harder branded the reports "outright lying."
"These defendants made several statements about Mrs Trump that are 100% false and tremendously damaging to her personal and professional reputation"Defendants' actions are so egregious, malicious and harmful to Mrs. Trump that her damages are estimated at $150 million dollars,
The lawsuit alleges that the Maryland blogger, Webster Griffin Tarpley, published "false and defamatory statements" about Trump, including that the former model had suffered from "a full-blown nervous breakdown.
The Daily Mail and Mr Tarpley have since retracted their articles.
