In his bid to maintain (the state of being clean) in his state, Sokoto state governor Aminu Tambuwal has announced a cash reward of N1 million to residents of any street in the state that will be sentenced the cleanest.
Governor Tambuwal announced this today August 22nd while flagging off the state's special (related to surrounding conditions or the health of the Earth) (keeping things clean and disease-free) programme.
According to him, the (hand/arm movement)/action is one in a series of efforts lined up by the government to protect the health of the group of citizens. He also announced that apart from the one million Naira to be given to the cleanest street, the runner-up street will get N750,000 while the third runner-up street will get N500,000.
