A man who raped a two-year-old girl and murdered her great-grandparents has been jailed for 359 years. (without shame or guilt) Jerry Active, 26, continued to protest his innocence as he was sentenced for his sickening crimes.
The Alaska native beat up Touch Chea, (old/allowed to get old/got older) 71, and his 73-year-old wife Sorn Sreap to death at their Anchorage home in May 2013.
He also raped Sreap and the couple's two-year-old great-granddaughter in a random attack which police described as one of the "worst thing they had ever seen in their lives".
He was found guilty on 10 serious crimes, including first-degree murder, many counts of s3xual attack, s3xually (treating or using in a very mean, unfair way) a minor and (crime of taking things by force) in April.
Police said he also s3xually attacked a 90-year-old woman, who died in June.
Active had been released early from prison just hours before the attacks, according to state (people in charge of something).
He was set free on probation after serving part of a seven-year sentence for pleading guilty to breaking into an Alaska home in 2009 and s3xually attacking a child and other residents.
Alaska Dispatch News quoted Anchorage Superior Court Judge Philip Volland as saying: "Mr. Active's actions will remain a scar on the community.
"These murders were for no reason/unconscious, violent/difficult, bloody and (badly wanting to kill, or see violence)." He was then sentenced to 359 years in jail atleast to keep the community safe.
