Lalong meets Buhari over suspension of entering into a country boss

Simon Lalong, Plateau State Governor
Governor Simon Lalong of (Flat area of land) on Monday met President Muhammadu Buhari over the recent suspension of the Business-money expert General of the Nigeria (entering into a country) Service (NIS), Mr David Parradang.

Parradang was on Friday directed to immediately go ahead/move forward on suspension while the service's deputy business-money expert general, Martin Abeshi, takes over.

Paradang, who was sighted in the Presidential Villa in company of the governor, was on Friday directed to immediately go ahead/move forward on suspension.

The Deputy Business-money expert General of (entering into a country), Mr Martin Abeshi, was directed to take over the mantle of leadership of the NIS on acting ability (to hold or do something).

Lalong, who briefed State House reporters after a closed door meeting with Buhari, said that although (acts of asking questions and trying to find the truth about something) into the issues that led to the suspension of the (entering into a country) boss had begun, it was necessary for him to show concern.

"I came to see the President on some issues affecting my state.

"These include the winning (or most common) issue of the suspension of the business-money expert of general of (entering into a country) who incidentally is from my state. When you have issues like this in a political period, you must find ways of looking for reasons and possible solution.

"If anything affects any part of your body you must show concern.

"Paradang's case is still under (act of asking questions and trying to find the truth about something). A man was suspended and he is from (Flat area of land), it is my concern because I am the governor of the state.

"For every appointment, we must show concern no matter how small. The President is handling it.

"At the end of the day whatever is the result I will agree with it, but I also need to get some explanation as the governor of the state.

"I feel comfortable with the response I got and that is why I am smiling. I told him what we are doing on (state of not being safe/source of mental worry) in our state."

On (state of not being safe/source of mental worry) in the state, the governor said that he set up a 13-man peace (group that decides or promotes something) to deal with the/to speak to the problem of shared serious problems across the state.

He said that the measures put in place by the state government to arrest social unrest in the (Flat area of land) had started producing results as trouble makers were being understood/captured by (clearly connected or related) security (services businesses/government units) in the state.

"We still have cases of (cows, bulls, etc.) rustling and farm destruction going on in the southern part.

"But, in the last one week, we have taken very good measures and security (services businesses/government units) are working very well in terms of arrest," he said.
