Ijaw young people compliment Buhari for breaking down and rebuilding NNPC

Udengs Eradiri, IYC President
The Ijaw Youth (group of people who advise or govern) (IYC) has thanked the Federal Government over the efforts to break down and rebuild the NNPC and called for loyalty to the federal character way of thinking/basic truth/rule.

The President of IYC, Udengs Eradiri, told NAN in Yenagoa on Wednesday that the breaking down and rebuilding efforts were desirable in blocking the (problems in the wording of a law that lets peaople sneak past it) in money/money income generation.

He, however, strongly encouraged the management of NNPC to review the process to make sure that the downsizing effort to begin (doing something) reflected the federal character way of thinking/basic truth/rule.

"We believe in the way of thinking/basic truth/rule of derivation and to secure/make sure of this, people from the oil producing areas should participate in the management of the part/area.

"We wish to ask the newly-hired Group Managing Director to review the list so that those with good records and few years to retirement be recalled to complete their service," Eradiri said.

The youth leader also strongly encouraged the Federal Government to put into use an (interested in the whole or the completeness of something) approach in its anti-(dishonest actions that ruin your trust) (effort to improve things or change things).

Eradiri also (charged with a crime) state governments in the Niger Delta area and oil firms of giving up their responsibility in the (freedom from being punished) programme, leaving only the Federal Government to carry the responsibility.

"The oil firms were supposed to employ (people who receive something valuable) of the freedom (from punishment) training programme while state governments were expected to give power to non-violent young people," he said.

He appealed to President Muhammed Buhar to force the governors in the Niger Delta and the oil firms operating in the area to support the after-freedom (from punishment) plan.
