Forte Oil cuts ties with errant petrol stations

 

Forte Oil Plc yesterday released a statement saying they have ended/fired the contracts between their company and four franchised filling stations, which were sealed by the Department of Petroleum Useful things/valuable supplies at the weekend for controlling/moving around/misleading their dispensing pumps, among other offences.

"(thing that someone can do well) Oil wishes to inform the public and its (people who are interested in a project or business) that it is aware of the article published in The PUNCH on August 22 titled 'DPR seals NNPC, (thing that someone can do well) Oil, 12 other petrol stations'.

"We wish to deal with the/to speak to the issue of the closure of these stations and state the (very close to the truth or true number) picture to the buying public and our (people who are interested in a project or business). The stations talked about/said in the above-titled article are franchised stations and are not owned by (thing that someone can do well) Oil Plc." The statement added,

"We at (thing that someone can do well) Oil have a strong and healthy (following the law/doing as you're told) system securing/making sure of that all stations called/labeled under our name obey all the rules related to the downstream petroleum part/area. This is (put into law) in all our franchise agreements and disobedience with these terms are penalised with instant end/ending/firing of the said agreement." According to the company, among the terms of contract are pump (honest and good human quality/wholeness or completeness) and securing/making sure of that the price displayed at the station is cooperative with the approved controlled price.
