Corps member arrested for armed (crime of taking things by force) wearing his full NYSC uniform

A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Babatunde Asemoyebun, serving in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, has been arrested after he robbed a woman of her car, a Honda Agreement/peace, mobile phones and a huge sum of money, on August 13, 2015, while dressed in his full uniform.


According to information, the corps member who was sent to serve his nation, had waylaid the woman in the GRA area of the town as she was driving into her compound and robbed her of the things she owns while armed with a gun.

After the (crime of taking things by force), the woman called the police to report the attack and the police swung into action, warning all the units in the state.

One of the Safer Highway Patrol teams (got ready for action) and went after the (single/alone) person (who steals things) and stopped (and looked at) him at Akpagher village.

In his possession were a black toy gun, the victim's mobile phones, cash, head mask and his NYSC identification card. He was handed over to the State Criminal (act of asking questions and trying to find the truth about something) Intelligence Department (SCIID).
