A petrol tanker has exploded at at Idimu Bus Stop, Egbe Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos, barely three days after a similar incident occurred at Iyana Ipaja.
When Olokunbolablessing.Com interviewed an Eyewitnesses said the explosion occurred after two diesel-laden tankers tried to overtake each other on the narrow road, but one of them over-turned in the process and spilled its content on the road.
The tanker caught fire immediately after impact.
It was gathered that the fire incident could have been worst if the Lagos State Fire Service did not arrive the scene on time.
The fire fighters were said to have battled to put out the fire for over five hours.
However, it was not immediately determined if there were casualties, but properties worth millions of naira were reportedly destroyed.
