Chris Brown has been forced to cancel two shows on his 'Between The Sheets' tour in Canada after the country's immigration denied him visa on Tuesday, February, 24.
The 'New Flame' singer announced on Twitter he
wouldn't be performing at the Centre Bell in Montreal on Tuesday and at
the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Wednesday, February 25.
Brown told his more than 14 million followers on Twitter, "Unfortunately I will not be able to perform in front of sold out crowds in Montreal & Toronto."
The 25-year-old added: "The
good people of the Canadian government wouldn't allow me entry. I'll be
back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!”
Brown however, later deleted the tweets.
Concert promoter Live Nation confirmed the cancellation on Twitter on Tuesday writing, "due to immigration issues' Brown's show in Toronto with R&B artist Trey Songz and rapper Tyga was canceled with refunds available at point of purchase.”
This isn't the first time the singer has been denied entry into Canada. Back in August 2014 Brown and Drake's debut joint performance canceled because Breezy wasn't allowed into Canada!
Apparently the country hasn't forgotten about his criminal records which includes beating up a man outside a Washington hotel in 2014 and punching his ex, Rihanna's face in 2009.
