Bulgarian woman Dimitrina Dimitrova, 29, died after falling over a cliff as she celebrated a marriage proposal from her boyfriend, who worked as a waiter on the island, British newspaper the Mirror reports.

Police say she was so excited at the prospect of a life together with her beloved, she jumped up and down with joy. However she fell approximately 20 metres and died from a heart attack at the bottom of a cliff.
The New York Daily Newsreports that she was alive but unconscious when paramedics arrived, but the injuries she’d sustained on the rocky terrain proved fatal.
The incident occurred at Cala Tarida, a picturesque village on Ibiza’s west coast where the beaches are located in pretty coves between rocky headlands.

There is no suggestion the tragedy was anything but an accident, a local Civil Guard spokesman said.
