Mel B ‘has left husband’ Stephen Belafonte after hospital stay

MEL B has reportedly walked out on her husband of seven years, Stephen Belafonte, who has denied he was the reason why she was rushed to hospital.

The Sun reports that the UK X Factor judge, 39, has packed her bags following a TV appearance on the talent show on Sunday where she appeared to have bruises and scratched on her face and was not wearing her wedding ring.
She had missed the Saturday night show due to her hospital visit.

“I really missed being here but thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took care of me and got me here (on Sunday),” Mel B said.
She did not comment on what sent her to hospital but Mr Belafonte says he was not responsible.
“I don’t usually respond to Twitter msgs but I will respond to comments of hitting my wife which I think are quite disgusting un true!,” he said. “Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can’t just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans of @OfficialMelB.”

However it comes after Mel B was three hours late to a photo shoot with Grazia magazine in which she admitted to having a fight with her husband.
“I walked in pi**ed off because I had a big row with my husband about stupid stuff. Sometimes he pi**es me off like no other, but he gets me,” she said.

A source told The Sun that Mr Belafonte had shown no concern about her health.
“Mel hasn’t spoken to Stephen once since her admission to hospital last week and as it stands she doesn’t want to see him. He didn’t come to the hospital at all,” the source said.
In 2007, just after they wed, Mr Belafonte was charged with assaulting his former girlfriend, Nicole Contreras. He took part in a domestic violence batterers’ program after pleading ‘no contest’ to the charges.

Meanwhile, Mel B’s sister Danielle Brown, 26, took to Twitter when the incident happened levelling allegations against Mr Belafonte.
“@stephenthinks1 if I have 2go press I will! Ive recorded all your calls 4 the past week including your 330am abusive call,” she wrote. “STOP @stephenthinks1 with your evil lies!! You told me and my mum yesterday she is fine and not in hospital @SimonCowell just doing press!
“@stephenthinks1 and now you say she is sick but ok Where is my sister??? What have you done??” she continued.

Ms Brown and their mother, Andrea, had fallen out with the former Spice Girl over concerns about her relationship with Mr Belafonte.
