Kanye WestRapper wants Idris Elba to be ‘black James Bond’

American rapper, Kanye West, has spoken out in support of a “black James Bond” branding the possibility a “visionary” casting.
In an interview with The Sun, the outspoken rapper said he supports the idea of having British actor, Idris Elba, as the first black James Bond. “I know Idris a little bit and he is a big talent. The movies he has been making are special, and when the role for James Bond comes up it needs to be his, Kanye said about the actor.

James Bond is a role made for British actors and you won't find a British actor who has the talent of Idris. To be honest you won't find many anywhere who have his talent,” Kanye West added.
Artists should be visionaries. A black James Bond would be visionary no doubt. Something that 30 years ago would have seemed crazy should now be something that is a real possibility,” Kanye West revealed.
The subject of the next 007 became a global debate after leaked emails from the Sony hack suggested Idris could take over from Daniel Craig.
A hacked email a fort night ago shows that Sony Pictures Entertainment’s co-chairman, Army Pascal, saying “Idris should be the next bond.”  The revelation has been greeted lots of reactions from the movie world.
In his New Year message to his fans, the actor reacted to the reports with a photo of himself with the caption “Isn't 007 supposed to handsome? Glad you think I've got a shot! Happy New year people.'
