Comedian breaks silence, thanks supporters on Twitter

Bill Cosby sued for sexual assault by 55-year-old woman, Judy HuthBill Cosby is finally speaking out to thanks his defenders via Twitter after weeks of silence amid multiple allegations of sexual assault on more than a dozen women.
The TV icon thanked the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and singer Jill Scott for their undying support of him on Wednesday, December 4.
He wrote: "Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg." and then, "Thank you @MissJillScott, from the Cosby Family."

Actress Goldberg came to Cosby's defense on an episode of 'The View' last November, saying she wasn't so sure of the sexual assault claims made by Barbara Bowman and questioned why the victim never reported the incident to the police after more than 20 years.

“Perhaps the police might have believed it, or the hospital,” Goldberg said. “Don’t you do a kit when you say someone has raped you?”
She added, "I hope somebody gets to the bottom of this, but I’m going to reserve my judgment because I have a lot of questions, as I said. It’s crazy, but I have a lot of questions, because I know we all have friends who have gone through this."
Meanwhile, singer Jill Scott may have defended Cosby on Twitter on Monday December 1 by posting:
When slammed for siding Cosby, Scott posted : "...sides with Mr. Cosby? No. I side with substantiated proof when media/society is attempting to destroy a magnificent Legacy"
She also posted: “oh ok. So they've proven the alleged allegations? I didn't know. Will they also be giving him back the millions he's donated?”
Adding to the many accusations of sexual assault launched against Cosby, a California woman filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming the comedian molested her at the Playboy Mansion around 1974, when she was 15 years old.
By the end of Tuesday famed lawyer brought three more Cosby victims to a press conference who did not only share their experiences but are also pushing forward with lawsuits against him!
Meanwhile he's reportedly cancelled most of his 'The Bill Cosby' show in several cities after Judy Huth filed a lawsuit against him early this week for sexual assault.
Will Bill Cosby ever regain his reputation, fame and peace again?
