The police investigation comes as a result of charges laid by the DA’s parliamentary leader Mmusi Maimane, EFF leader Julius Malema and others.
The police’s Solomon Makgale confirmed the charges and said they were grouped together.
The probe could focus on Zuma’s family’s links to the construction company Moneymine. The company pocketed more than R50m from the project.
Moneymine is owned by Michael and Pamela Mfeka who are linked to Zuma’s cousin, Mandla Gcaba, reported Beeld.
