10 Feared Dead As Soldiers Battle Terrorists In Adamawa

Fierce fighting in the Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State has reportedly claimed the lives of 10 soldiers and dozens of insurgents.
The Nigerian army is battling Boko Haram in an attempt to regain control of the town which was invaded by the terrorists on Thursday, November 13.

Gombi is viewed as the gateway to Yola, the state capital where the terrorists have reportedly set their sights.
Governor James Ngilari earlier stated that Boko Haram was in control of 5 Local Government Areas in the state and was making moves to take over even more.
Boko Haram is now believed to have conquered seven local governments in Adamawa including Madagali, Maiha, Mubi North, Mubi South, Michika and Hong.
