A teenager has posted a sickening video showing him throttling a cat and hurling it across the road – because it ate his dog's food.
The shocking act of animal cruelty was posted to Facebook by the young man from Cleveland, Ohio, but has now been taken down.
It sparked a flood of furious responses online.

And now the Cleveland Animal Protective League is investigating the stomach-turning film.
The mobile phone clip shows the teen gripping the petrified puss around the neck.

And the yob says to the camera: "You think it's a motherf****** game, huh? You keep on eating my dog food, you hear me? I'll choke the s**t out of your dumb ass. You stupid motherf*****"
Holding the cat, whose eyes appear to bulging, up to the lens, he goes on: "You see this? You see this? Keep on. Keep on eating the motherf****** dog food. Get your b*tch ass on."

The teenager then throws the cat across the street.
According to ABC5, the pet survived its ordeal and is now in the care of the Animal Protection League (APL)
Sharon Harvey, CEO of the APL, said: "We are now checking our findings with CPD's Bureau of Detectives who are also looking into this and when we put everything together we will be figuring out what our next steps will be based on the evidence and where that takes us."
