A Brazilian woman has reportedly sliced off her husband's penis with a bread knife after she caught him cheating on her with another man.

The woman had waited several days before taking out her revenge on her 28-years-old husband who didn't know she had found him in bed with a man at their home in Santos, Southeast Brazil.

The woman suggested they play out a sexual fantasy in which she would tie him up in bed, and he readily agreed to it. When he was completely immobilised, she took a bread knife from the kitchen and sliced off her husband's manhood.

The man and his penis were rushed to the hospital but the organ could not be saved. Doctors described his condition as stable but he would probably have to use a catheter for the rest of his life.
